Local AI desktop app that reads the Fortnite elimination feed, spots build fights and clutch endgames, and cuts them into ready-to-post 9:16 clips for Shorts, TikTok and Reels. Works on Battle Royale, Zero Build and OG. No upload, no subscription, $49 once.
Fortnite highlights aren't just "kill count". A 6-elim game with no endgame clutch is less watchable than a 2-elim game with a 1v1 build fight in the final zone. The Fortnite mode balances elimination density, motion, audio and callouts so the clips that come out are the moments you'd actually post.
Every 2 seconds the top-right elimination feed is cropped and passed through EasyOCR. Text density scales into a "kill burst" score — clusters of eliminations inside a rolling 15-second window are what a triple kill or a squad wipe looks like on the feed.
Build fights and edit sequences generate enormous frame-to-frame change compared to standing still or looting. The motion analyzer scores those windows independently of eliminations, so a wild 1v1 edit fight scores high even before the elim shows up.
OpenAI Whisper runs locally on your voice track and boosts moments where these words get called out: eliminated, knocked, clutch, storm, nice, gg, insane, build, snipe, boom, victory royale. That's how Victory Royales get properly scored — you tend to say something when you win.
💡 Squad and duo VODs are fine. The elimination feed shows your team's kills alongside yours; the detector picks up on the density either way and prioritises the round-ending sequence. If you want strictly-your-kills clips, review a solo VOD first — mixing modes just changes what "highlight-worthy" means.
The elimination feed layout is identical across the main Fortnite modes. Different formats just shift what "highlight" means:
Standard 100-player builds mode. Build fights dominate the motion score, endgame elim clusters dominate the OCR score. The two together find the moments that make it onto YouTube.
No builds means motion patterns look different — more sprint-and-peek, less mid-air editing. Detection quality is identical because the elimination feed and audio callouts are the same.
Rotating limited modes. Same HUD, same detector. OG mode's shorter session length means most VODs are one high-quality Victory Royale run per file — makes for clean output.
Team kills add to the elimination feed density. Whisper callouts help disambiguate the moments where you personally made the play vs. teammate kills.
Elite lobbies tend to have longer endgames with more edit fights. Burst-extension logic keeps 40-second build fights as one continuous clip rather than chopping them at the kill peak.
Aim training and 1v1 lobbies. High kill density with short round cycles. Sensitivity slider handles the switch — drop it lower to catch more borderline eliminations.
A weekend Fortnite session is easily 3–5 games at 15–30 minutes each. The Fortnite mode reshapes that into vertical, standalone clips:
A 4-hour Fortnite session at 1440p60 is 20–35 GB. On a 20 Mbps home upload, that's ~2–3 hours uploading to a cloud clipper before analysis starts. Local processing starts in seconds and uses your GPU for the encode.
Whisper transcription runs entirely on your PC — your callouts and voice are never uploaded to a third-party server. That matters more for Fortnite creators than most, given how many live commentary tracks end up on VODs.
One $49 payment. Process every game of every session, at every resolution. No credit system, no "premium tier for Victory Royales".
💡 Want a specific 30-second window instead? On v1.1+, jump into the Clip Cutter tab — open the same VOD, scrub the timeline to the edit fight you remember, capture Start and End with one click, export as a 9:16 clip. Faster than combing the AI output when you already know the moment you want.
Drop a Fortnite VOD in, hit start, get vertical clips you can upload as-is. $49 once, works forever.
